Lily Allen has joked she won't take her children to music festivals – because she wants to "enjoy" herself.
The British singer is pregnant again after giving birth to her daughter Ethel in November last year. Although Lily loves spending time with her baby, she has ruled out exposing her kids to raucous music events at an early age.
"When you have kids you do look at your parents and think, 'Would I bring up my child the same way?', and the answer is, not necessarily," she told British newspaper The Sun. "I was taken to the Glastonbury Festival every year but I won't be taking Ethel there — although that's more for selfish reasons, because I want to go and enjoy myself!"
Lily tied the knot with property developer Sam Cooper in June last year and the 27-year-old says marriage is "everything [she] hoped for and more".
The singer is currently working on a new album and is famous for her outspoken song lyrics.
Lily insists she has no regrets about speaking her mind, but claims she has "mellowed" since becoming a mother.
"When I first started out in my career, I made quite a lot of controversial statements... I'd say that motherhood has mellowed me along with just age, growing up and having more responsibility," she explained. "I don't regret anything I've ever said because it's all part of growing up and I believed it at the time….
"I don't think you should ever feel bad about having strong opinions at any particular time.
And certainly, if something's worth banging on about, I will still do it!"
