In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Lisa Marie Presley revealed details about her final "coherent" conversation with her ex-husband, Michael Jackson, whom she was married to briefly in 1994.
Of the fateful convo, which occurred in 2005, LMP said, "I was very distanced, and he was checking to get a read, you know? He was trying to throw a line out to see if I would bite emotionally, and I wouldn't." Jackson asked Presley if she loved him to which she replied that she was indifferent. The rejection of sorts made Jacko break into tears. How sad.
What's most telling is what Jackson said at the end of the call. He was paranoid, saying "he felt that someone was going to try to kill him to get hold of his catalogue and his estate," Presley revealed. She would not, however, provide the names of the people Jackson was worried about.
