Little Mix are desperate to meet Rihanna at Wednesday night's (24Feb16) BRIT Awards.
The annual music bash, held in London, will take place at the O2 Arena. However, Rihanna's appearance hangs in the balance after she reportedly spent Monday night (22Feb16) partying in the British capital, meaning she didn't rehearse at the concert venue the following day. She was also forced to cut her Grammys performance earlier this month (Feb16) due to illness.
However, Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock is hoping that's not the case.
"I tried everything to meet the woman at X Factor (UK) and nobody would let us pass, but we'll be able to meet her, I think - maybe we'll just follow her to whatever after-party she goes to," said Rihanna superfan Leigh-Anne to Britain's Metro newspaper.
"She walked past you and said how nice your hair was," chimed in her bandmate Perrie Edwards.
Little Mix, also made up of Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson, are in the running for British Single and British Artist Video for their hit Black Magic. The girls fancy their chances of bagging a coveted prize, and despite 2016 being the first year they've been nominated, Leigh-Anne says it's well deserved.
"Not being big-headed but finally we've got the recognition I think we deserve," she smiled.
The British band were formed on The X Factor UK in 2011, and since then they've gone from strength to strength. As well as selling out shows and producing number one albums, Little Mix have also moved into the beauty market with their own perfume, Gold Magic.
"It's like one of our milestones for us," Jade smiled to Cover Media. "When we first got put together on the X Factor, we had a little list of what we wanted to achieve as a girlband, like we want dolls, we want a perfume... four years later, it's finally happened."
