Little Mix say acting geeky comes "naturally" to them.
The British girlband, which comprises of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson, is back with new single Black Magic. In the accompanying music video, the four singers have fun dressing up in nerdy looks - which wasn't a far stretch for any of them according to Perrie.
"It was pretty natural for us!" she laughed to the UK edition of OK! magazine.
"It felt nice not to worry about what we looked like."
Jesy added: "We're quite geeky anyway! When we're relaxing we sit in our pyjamas and eat loads of c**p and watch TV. We can never be bothered to do our hair or make-up."
The girls added that their partners prefer them without cosmetics anyway. For Perrie, that's fiancé Zayn Malik, who recently quit One Direction to live a "normal" life and spend more time with her.
Many fans consequently blamed her for that, but the blonde singer realises she can shrug the criticism off.
"Zayn is his own person and makes his own decisions. Whatever he wanted to do during that time, I was going to support him 100 per cent," she shrugged. "So whatever people think, whether they know the truth or don't, it's his decision. He's made it, the boys have supported him, I've supported him and his fans have been incredible. It's just the way it is."
