Liza Minnelli has met some 'lu-lus of Loserville' in her time.
The iconic singer-and-actress has been married and divorced four times, with her most recent separation from David Gest particularly acrimonious.
The 65-year-old star has discussed the qualities she looks for in a partner, and says such characteristics have sometimes been lacking in the people she meets.
'Kindness. Humour is huge! And I guess what they're about. You don't learn that right away. There's something good about everybody. But boy I've met a couple of lu-lus of Loserville!' she quipped in an interview with the UK edition of OK! magazine.
Liza says marriage isn't important. The legendary performer says your feelings for someone should override your desire to tie the knot.
'Why on earth should I get married? I can't have kids. When you get to a certain age it's not real important anymore,' she explained.
't's different for everyone but for me it's just ridiculous. If you love somebody you love them.'
