They've frequently expressed mutual admiration for each other in the past - but now there are reports that Lorde and Kanye West are going one step further, and heading into the studio together.
Lorde recently covered two Kanye West songs in concert - 'Flashing Lights' and 'Hold My Liquor', and when she first burst onto the scene last year, she told The Observer, "I look to Kanye for inspiration in a lot of things, and his ability to kind of reinvent and keep throwing curveballs with each record."
She also told Rolling Stone that West was a fan of hers, saying, "He said he liked the messages [in my songs], which was cool." We'll have to take her word for it.
Now, in a report from The New York Post's Page Six, West is about to start recording with the singer after finishing the Australian leg of his tour.
Last week, West hit the headlines after he halted a show until every single fan had stood up, not realising those still seated were disabled.
