Louis Tomlinson isn't sure he'll celebrate his birthday with a party as he finds them "stressful".
The One Direction hunk turns 21 today, traditionally a milestone which people mark by holding a huge bash for their nearest and dearest.
Although Louis is excited about his special day, he admits holding a get together wasn't at the top of his to do list.
"It's quite a stress organising a party," he told MTV News. "I kinda just want to have a chill-out one, but for your 21st, you have to go all out, so I don't know."
Louis' bandmate Niall Horan was much more up-tempo about his pal's celebrations. During the interview the Irish singer begged Louis to hold a lavish bash, with the birthday boy relenting a little bit.
"Niall, we will just have a party, me and you," he giggled. "DVD night, plenty of popcorn."
Niall immediately got on board with the plan, joking he would only come along if the pair could watch Mark Wahlberg's movie Ted – which is about a talking cuddly toy.
One Direction – also comprising of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne – have enjoyed a busy year culminating in the release of their second record Take Me Home. They are planning to spend time with their families over the festive season, with Niall claiming they all have the same thing at the top of their Christmas wish list.
"I'm not really looking for anything for Christmas," Niall admitted. "I think we all kind of agree, we're all really looking forward to just going home and, like, spending Christmas with our family and friends, eating a lot, drinking a lot, sleeping a lot, just chilling. General chilling."
