Louis Tomlinson has apparently had a panic room installed to protect him from crazed fans.
The One Direction heartthrob has risen to fame with bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, quickly amassing a huge teenage following.
The 21-year-old has now reportedly taken extreme measures to ensure he is safe from stalkers, splashing out £15,000 for the room.
"Louis loves the fans and isn't overwhelmed with paranoia. He's just a realist about the dangers of being in the spotlight," a source explained to British newspaper The Sun.
"One Direction followers are notorious for tracking the lads down, so that's made him a bit cautious."
A further reason for Louis' safety investment is apparently his concern for girlfriend Eleanor Calder, who has been targeted by jealous One Direction fans in the past.
An insider also told the newspaper the young star fears thieves and kidnappers, following the foiled murder plot against Justin Bieber.
"This is just something that makes him feel safe," the source concluded.
Louis isn't the only one of the band feeling he needs protection for his expensive home and loved ones.
Zayn, 19, allegedly also has a panic room installed in his £2 million luxury house.
The dark-haired hunk recently made headlines thanks to a supposed affair with an Australian waitress.
Harry's ex-girlfriend, pop princess Taylor Swift, has also received worrying death threats from fans in the past, but bandmate Niall insists he's not worried about the mania surrounding the band.
"It's only brave girls behind a computer, thinking they can say what they want. Other celebrities get freaked out about death threats. I'm carefree about it," he shrugged.
