Louis Tomlinson is sick of The Voice "bad mouthing" The X Factor.
The singer and his One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, found fame on The X Factor UK in 2010 and went on to become the world's biggest boy group.
Now rival singing competition, Britain's The Voice, is back on TV screens and the 23-year-old is bored of the talent shows facing off.
"Is bad mouthing The X Factor the only way The Voice knows how to promo their show ? #everyyear" he queried on Twitter.
"It's like Accrington Stanley trying to compete with Real Madrid .... (sic)"
While The X Factor has produced talent such as One Direction, Leona Lewis and Olly Murs, The Voice is yet to find its first real star.
But things could look up this season, as Rita Ora has joined the show as the judging panel's leading lady. She sits next to Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson and follows in the footsteps of female popstars Jessie J and Kylie Minogue.
"There have been times when I thought, 'Should I be doing this?' I'm sitting alongside amazing talents many albums deep and I'm only on my second one. But I guess they want that perspective for a reason, and if I can help someone, why should I be selfish enough not to?" she reasoned to British magazine Star.
"I had a moment where I was like, 'F**k!' But then I thought, 'I have nothing to hide. I have no skeletons left in my closet, so I'm just going to go for it.' And that's exactly what I did."
