Stevie Wonder tops the list of new names added to the 2013 Hangout Festival, but he's far from the only addition: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Imagine Dragons, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Mr. "Harlem Shake" himself, Baauer, have also signed on for the fest, set for May 17-19 on the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama.
They join a packed list of artists that already includes headliners Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Kings of Leon, not to mention the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding, the Shins, Jim James and the Roots. All in all, more than 50 acts will be featured on the bill.
General-admission tickets — plus Super VIP and "Big Kahuna Passes" — are on sale now through Hangout's website.
Of course, if you can't make it down to Alabama, don't fret: MTV, VH1 and CMT will be bringing Hangout to a national audience by live-streaming from the festival. And MTV News, VH1 News and CMT News will also be bringing fans onstage (and backstage) access with their favorite stars and on-the-ground reporting that highlights the fashions, personalities and breakout moments from the fest.
The Hangout Festival plays out across five stages — two of which are located just steps from the Gulf of Mexico — and also features a hammock beach, a Sky Bar tower offering 360-degree views of all the action, rides and games and plenty of Alabama Gulf seafood (the shrimp is outrageous).
