MADONNA has become the international correspondent for Israel's biggest newspaper, it was reported today.
The Material Girl got her own byline on the front page of today's issue of Yediot Ahronot with a teaser of an article she has written for the paper.
It gives an excerpt from the column, which will be published in full on Friday translated into Hebrew, headlined: "How My Life Changed."
In her piece, she describes her religious awakening almost 14 years ago, saying she realized fame and fortune were not the end but only the beginning.
Although the 50-year-old singer isn't Jewish, she has adopted the Hebrew name of Esther and studies Jewish mysticism.
She made a private pilgrimage to Israel in 2004 and will play two concerts there in September as part of her Sticky & Sweet tour.
