Her rep released a statement on Tuesday saying that neither Madge nor her Malawi charity is being followed by the feds.
After a number of reports indicated financial foul play and a derisive article in Newsweek appeared about her charity, Raising Malawi, Madge’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, told press: 'In recent days a number of wild and totally false rumours about Madonna's philanthropy - spread by bloggers and tabloids - have begun appearing on the Internet.
'As we have said previously, Raising Malawi is currently undergoing a series of positive changes in an effort to serve more children. Neither Madonna nor Raising Malawi is being investigated by the IRS or the FBI.'
The high-powered lawyer of the Kabbalah Centre Mathew Rosengart also backed the 52-year-old singer. He said: 'It has not received any notification of a official investigation. If it does, it intends to cooperate fully.'
The Kabbalah Centre and Raising Malawi have recently enlisted the help of highly-paid spin doctors - Trevor Neilson and Mark Fabiani to deal with the debacle.
Fabiani was not available for comment at the time of press.
