Madonna: I forgot Kardashian meeting

Madonna forgot she had met Kim Kardashian.

The legendary performer bumped into the reality star at the Met Gala in New York earlier in May.

However upon greeting the pregnant TV star, she didn't remember their previous encounter.

"I met her years and years ago when she was a little girl, believe it or not," Madonna told Extra. "She told me she was a huge fan of mine, and it was during the time I was wearing all of the rubber bracelets on my arms.

"I took off all of the bracelets and gave them to her and then I completely forgot about it. She reminded me when I saw her the other night. Now she's a pregnant lady!"

One celebrity she will have no problem holding onto memories of is Sir Elton John.

The musicians recently reconciled after an on-going feud and the pianist was kind enough to buy her a meal.

"After we kissed and hugged, he paid for my dinner, as he should," she joked.

As well as being a pop star, Madonna is a busy mother of four children.

She enjoys having them around her as she travels the globe so she can show them how to be excellent career people.

"It was great to have a working family… to me that's my idea of fun, to be creative, to do what I love to do and see my kids working around me and earning their way in life," she confessed. "My daughter worked in the costume department and she loved it. My son was in the show, and he loved it."

The singer is parent to daughter Lourdes, 16, and son Rocco, 14. She also has two adopted children named David Banda and Mercy James, both eight.

"I try to find the right balance between being there for them and guiding them and also being an artist," Madonna added. "I'm trying to find enough time in the day to do those jobs well."
