Madonna is studying the Koran.
The Daily Mail reports the singer, originally raised a Roman Catholic, and who then converted to Kabbalah, an offshoot of Judaism, is studying Islam.
The Mail quotes Madonna, 55, who is currently dating a Muslim young man, explaining her interest. ‘I am building schools for girls in Islamic countries and studying the Koran. I think it is important to study all the holy books...As my friend Yaman always tells me, a good Muslim is a good Jew, and a good Jew is a good Christian, and so forth. I couldn’t agree more.
Madonna and her current partner Brahim Zaibat, 25, allegedly argue about religion because of his Muslim faith, speculates the Daily Mail.
Zaibat has been described by British media as a poor break dancing boy who is a devout Muslim from France. Zaibat reportedly made it in New York where he met Madonna when she launched a clothing line.
