Madonna, Bryan Adams and Duran Duran are amongst the musicians who paid tribute to fashion designer L'Wren Scott, who was found dead in her apartment yesterday (March 17).
Scott, the partner of the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger, was discovered deceased in her New York flat in an apparent suicide. Now, figures of the music world are paying tribute to the designer and former model.
"This is a horrible and tragic loss. I’m so upset," said Madonna in a statement. "I loved L’Wren’s work and she was always so generous with me." The singer was often spotted in Scott's creations.
Meanwhile, rock star turned photographer Bryan Adams, who often worked with Scott, took to Twitter to say he was "devastated" by the news.

Lily Allen called the fashion designer's death a "terrible tragedy" and even claimed to have spotted her at the hairdressers recently.

I saw her at the hairdressers only the other day.

Scott modelled extensively in the 80s before becoming an influential celebrity stylist in the 90s. In 2001, she began a relationship with Mick Jagger. She founded her own fashion label in 2006.
