Madonna has proved that she still has it (the money that is), after raking in an estimated eighty million dollars for thirty-two US concert dates.

Currently on the European leg of her "sold out" Confessions Tour, Madonna will be heading off to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan in mid-September, to perform four more shows.

According to Billboard Magazine, Madonna's previous tour, the 2004 Re-Invention Tour, was the most successful tour that year.

As expected, she is the reigning concert queen again this summer.

The Orange County Registrar comments on the upcoming American tour, saying: "It very likely will be the pop spectacle of the year.

"A politically charged combination of Cirque du Soleil, performance-art commentary and dance-party explosion that more or less sums up everything she has been striving to say and show this decade."
