Madonna didn't attend her own Oscars afterparty this year but her A-list pals ensured the party was still a success.
The singer, who is famous for throwing an extravagant post-Academy Awards party each year, was a no-show due to a prior engagement.
But that didn't stop Hollywood's A-list from flocking to her party despite her absence. Guests including Miley Cyrus, Mick Jagger, Beyoncé, Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combs, Gigi Hadid, Tommy Hilfiger and many more partied up a storm at the bash co-hosted by Madonna's long-time manager, Guy Oseary. And according to those in the know, it was as star-studded an affair as always.
With its long-standing no-press rule, the party is always a hit with celebs wanting to let their hair down in private.
Page Six previously reported that due to her performance at the Brit Awards in London on February 25, Madonna would be unable to attend her own do this time around as she would be in rehearsals.
Rather than cancel the festivities, though, the 56-year-old remained the gracious host, with sources close to the star previously confirming that the party would still go ahead and "will be as star-studded and private as ever".
While the party proved as popular as ever even in the Queen of Pop's absence, Vanity Fair's annual extravaganza and CAA's afterparty, thrown by Bryan Lourd at The Palm, drew their fair of usual suspects, too.
Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, Scarlett Johansson, Cate Blanchett and host with the most Neil Patrick Harris partied up a storm at The Palm, while Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo were in good company at Vanity Fair, surrounded by a host of Victoria's Secret models past and present.
