Overview
The Queen of Pop shipped goodie boxes of toys, chocolate, sweets and clothes to the African orphans.
Her handwritten note read: “To my Malawi children on Christmas and Boxing Day. I wish I was with you. See you soon M.”
The boxes also contained Christmas cards signed by Madonna and her children Lourdes and Rocco.
Madonna sent the presents to orphanages including Home of Hope Orphanage in Mchinji, where she adopted son David in 2006.
She had reportedly planned to return to Malawi in November with U2 singer Bono but is said to have rescheduled the trip for spring.
