MADONNA is understood to be in talks to make a special appearance on the next series of The X Factor.
The Material Girl is set to make a special cameo during this year's live finals of the ITV talent show, which will air in the U.K. in December.
A source told the Sun newspaper: "The last series proved anything is possible when Beyonce performed with Alex. The final got 15 million viewers and that is enough to entice the biggest stars on to our stage.
"This year is going to be bigger than ever - we are planning to get the best names in music - Madonna would be sensational."
Bosses at ITV have allegedly stumped up an extra £6 million for the series' budget, which they are hoping to spend on guest performers such as Lady GaGa and Robbie Williams, as well as Madonna.
