The 53-year-old is set to release a new album next year - her first record since 2008's Hard Candy.
Her next album will also be her first release not to come out on a Warner Brothers label, her musical home for almost 30 years, as she has signed a three-album deal with Universal's Interscope Records.
The Material Girl has released three albums in the last eight years, so if her work rate continues at the same pace, she could be reaching the age of 60 by the time the deal finishes.
Her first single Gimme All Your Luvin from her new album is due to come out in January shortly before she appears at the Superbowl in February.
