Madonna is set to "Turn Up the Radio" really loud on Monday when she drops her music video for the MDNA single.
The summery track, produced by Martin Solveig, is the third single off Madge's 2012 album release. She shot the clip in Italy earlier this summer, in the midst of her sometimes-controversial world tour. Perez Hilton reported the release date ahead of a teaser which dropped early Friday.
Originally posted by fansite Madonnarama the teaser, which got its premiere on U.K. chat show, "Daybreak," features the singer sitting in the back seat of the vintage convertible, with fans chasing her through the streets. The Queen smiles, shimmies and fist pumps her way through the teaser, looking like she's truly living La Dolce Vita.
Originally, rumor had it that Madonna would be shooting the video in Rome, but she eventually settled on another Italian city, Florence. In a shot posted on Twitter by her longtime manager Guy Oseary, Madonna was snapped wearing all black while walking toward a convertible filled with colorfully clad dancers. Her "Give It 2 Me" music video director, Tom Munro, has reportedly also worked with her on this latest video.
When MTV News spoke to Solveig about working with the legendary pop star on the track, he shared that she gave him the freedom to do whatever he wanted in the studio. In addition to producing this latest single, he also worked with her on the album's lead release, "Give Me All Your Luvin'," which eventually spawned a cheerleader-themed music video.
"We were working with no limits. I think the only thing that she said when we started was, 'I just want people to be able to dance to my music and connect easily with my music,' and also probably to take some risks at some point," Solveig said. "Other than this, it was open to any kind of experimentation."
