Mariah Carey birth `over the top`: Nick Cannon

The 30-year-old TV star talked about life with their twins on daytime chat show The Talk.

“It’s amazing to see her as a mum and to be so nurturing,” he said. “Her instincts are right on point.”

He said Carey was a diva even for the birth of twins Moroccan and Monroe in April.

“It was definitely over the top,” said Cannon. “I told myself I was the production manager of the whole thing, I was the DJ. I had the camera on one hand.

“The lighting had to be perfect. My wife was like, ‘you better make sure the lighting is right.’

“But it was amazing because she wanted a certain song to be playing when the babies came out.

“She wanted Fantasy, from her live performance from Madison Square Gardens. So the babies came out to a round of applause.

“She was like they are coming, let’s go (with the music).”

The birth fell on their wedding anniversary and he insists they still renewed their vows in style.
