Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon invited a classical guitarist back to their home as they loved his music so much.
The married couple were out for dinner at TriBeCa's Theatre Bar supper club Tolani in New York City where they were seen thoroughly enjoying the music provided by classical guitarist Nilko Andreas.
New York Post reports that the pair loved his tunes so much that they were seen going backstage and inviting Colombian-born Nilko to their house so they could hear more.
Nilko and his band took the duo up on their offer and went to their loft for a recording session.
This may be a sign of a new musical direction for Mariah who is rumoured to be making a new album.
The singer recently announced that she has re-recorded her smash hit All I Want for Christmas as a duet with teen heartthrob Justin Bieber.
'What's up? I'm Mariah Carey. I am here today to tell you a little secret,' Mariah said in a video posted to Justin's Twitter page. 'Justin and I are doing this duet together, I am very excited about it, really excited. I think a lot of you are very surprised by this and you're going to be even more surprised when you hear it. The song sounds great , I'm very excited for everyone to hear it. This Christmas will be totally festive with our festive collaboration.'
