Mariah Carey "shut down" Hollywood when she received her Walk of Fame star on Wednesday.
The 45-year-old songstress has sold over 200 million albums and claimed 18 number one singles in the United States since her debut into the music industry in 1988.
And on Wednesday the Dreamlover singer was finally awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where she will be immortalised forever in cement on the sidewalk alongside the names of the entertainment industry's most revered creatives.
"They just shut down Hollywood Boulevard because you all came out today! Thank you #lambs #lambily !! #hollywoodwalkoffame (sic)," Mariah wrote on her Twitter account Wednesday, infusing the message with a heart-eyed emoji and a star glyph.
Mariah's children with estranged husband Nick Cannon, four-year-old fraternal twins Moroccan and Monroe, stole the show at the event, as the cute little tykes climbed all over their mother while she accepted her honour.
The illustrious ceremony was attended by the likes of Brett Ratner, L.A. Reid and Lee Daniels, who directed Mariah in 2009 film Precious.
It seems Mariah has even more news to celebrate, as Lee revealed information about her screen career at the event.
"Watch her on Empire you guys! She's coming on Empire!" he enthusiastically noted.
But the contract has not yet been put in place, leaving Lee in fear over upsetting his managers.
"I'm already in trouble with my publicist," he joked.
Empire is Lee's hit Fox network TV show, which stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard.
It seems Mariah is celebrating her huge Walk of Fame career feat in a big way, as she chowed down on a prime piece of sirloin to honour the acknowledgement.
"#celebrating in style with good friends and great food @eatstk @STKLosAngeles #moments,(sic)" she wrote on Twitter, attaching a picture of herself beside a super happy chef.
