The American star plays bad boy Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman on the hit US show, about a group of high school kids in a singing club. A number of big name stars have appeared on the programme – most recently Britney Spears – and Mark would love his music hero to appear.
“Nothing could top Sir Paul singing on Glee. He would be amazing,” Mark enthused. “I’d love him to have a funny part like that janitor. Who knows whether he’d do it.”
Paul is known to be a fan of the programme, even going so far as to send creator Ryan Murphy CDs of songs he thought could be featured on it.
The second series of the show recently hit screens in America, and there are rumours Jennifer Lopez will make a cameo as a canteen worker at some point. Justin Timberlake, Gwyneth Paltrow, Javier Bardem and Susan Boyle have also been linked to the show.
Mark gets on well with his co-stars, and is especially close to Matthew Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester. They don’t hang out all the time away from the set, but do spend some time together.
“We say to each other, ‘hey, we’ve spent 18 hours with each other today, let’s have a break!’ But we often play Frisbee and golf,” he said.
