I guess MC Hammer wasn't playing when he said he was prepping a video for the diss song aimed at Jay-Z for referencing something as public as Hammer once going bankrupt (just look it up in wikipedia) on Kanye's "So Appalled" track. SMDH.
Video: MC Hammer, "Better Run Run"
MC Hammer's "Better Run Run" video hit the net this morning (Nov. 1), which features a Jay-Z look-a-like running through the woods as a devilish-looking man runs after him. The song was inspired by Jay-Z's verse in Kanye West's "So Appalled" song, which finds Jigga rapping, "And Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused/I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30/Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can't hurt me."
Immediately after, a disgruntled Hammer took to Twitter to express his displeasure with the verse. "Laughing at these grown men coming on my timeline with they #pompoms waving for #HellBoy (Jigga)... These lil demons and Imps stopping by timeline today.. Yes,I dissesd yo #Daddy .. The dude who made the #Lucifersong....smh... You wanted my attention #HellBoy (Jigga) ..you got it."
So now he's released "Better Run Run" and says Jay-Z worships the devil and needs God in his life, rapping, "The Devil said 'I'll give you the world' 'I'll take it plus give me a girl/Mister devil can you give a sign he said 'throw the rock up, that's one of mine.'" At the end of the video, Hammer, who is an ordained minister, catches the Jay-Z look-a-like and baptizes him. *Eyes rolling BBM face*
I'm just wondering if Hammer's mad at Drake too for his "Will I blow all of this money, baby, Hammer time" line on "The Resistance"? Or am I stirring some ish here? Anywho...
