Meat Loaf Passes Out on Stage, Finishes Show

Meat Loaf scared the stuffing out of hundreds of concertgoers Thursday (July 28) at Pittsburgh's Trib Amphitheater when he fainted on stage during an apparent asthma attack.

The 63-year-old singer had just finished cranking out the 1992 epic "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" when he collapsed and stayed down for about 10 minutes, according to sources at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Video of the scare shows Meat being swarmed by staffers after fainting, with the band slowly stopping the song.

Amazingly, Meat regained his composure and finished the show. He explained to fans what had happened before playing his signature hit, "Paradise by the Dashboard Light."

"I f****** fainted. I have asthma ... I can't breathe ... and then ... oh wait, I forgot ... I got poked by a pin and bled half to death ... and then I got slapped in the face and my tooth is loose."

His next concert is scheduled for Saturday (July 30) in Columbus, Ohio. Meat Loaf confirmed in May that he was recording a new album, to be called 'Hell in a Hand Basket.'
