Mel C would support her daughter if she wanted to become famous.
The former Spice Girls star has experienced the ups and downs of the industry thanks to her time in the band alongside Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
The star is mother to four-year-old Scarlet and would be happy for her little one to follow in her musical footsteps.
"I just want her to be happy so I'll support her in whatever she does if it makes her happy," she explained to the British edition of OK! magazine.
"Her favourite bands are Spice Girls, Little Mix and Jessie J - girl power!"
Mel's former bandmates Mel B and Geri have both dabbled with mentoring jobs on TV talent shows.
Despite not having gone down the same route yet, the 39-year-old is a big fan of the concept.
"I love The Voice UK because Scarlet is a big fan of Jessie J. They have great vocals on there and the mentors are great," she gushed.
"Those shows have become part of our Saturday night TV. I'm glad those shows weren't around when I was starting out because I don't know how I'd have done! I'm happy that our beginnings were more behind the scenes, because your life changes dramatically overnight, whereas we had a few years to prepare."
Despite expressing uncertainty about whether the Spice Girls would perform together again, Mel revealed she will be working on solo material.
