Michael Bublé says he is a "badass" like Frank Sinatra.
The singer is often compared with legendary vocalist Frank, as they have a similar warm tone and Michael has covered many of his old tracks.
Michael welcomed the comparison and insisted that like Frank, he has a dark side.
"People think of me as some kind of goody-goody altar boy and I'm not that at all," he told the UK edition of Hello! magazine. "They go: 'He sings the standards so he must be a sweet guy,' but Sinatra sang the standards and he was a badass."
In the past, the 36-year-old has been known as a ladies man.
However, the star turned his back on the bachelor lifestyle and married Argentine actress-and-model Luisana Lopilato earlier this year.
Michael confessed that he used to pursue lots of women because he was insecure.
"Half the women I was with, I was probably with them just to prove to myself that I was manly and cool," he explained.
"Listen, I love women – the way they look and smell and feel – but often I was with then for the wrong reasons. Luisana knows all about my past, but I'd already started to work on those issues before I met her because I was on the road to becoming a rich, lonely old man."
