Michael Jackson’s brothers ‘carry his spirit’

Michael Jackson's brothers still "miss him every day" four years after his death.

The King of Pop passed away on June 25, 2009 of acute Propofol intoxication. The lethal dose was administered by his former physician Conrad Murray, who is currently serving time in jail for involuntary manslaughter.

The entire Jackson family and millions of fans are mourning Michael on the anniversary of his passing.

His brothers Jackie, Marlon, Tito and Jermaine are taking the loss of their sibling especially hard, but they cherish his memory.

"Four years ago today we lost one of the greatest musicians, entertainers, and icons the world has ever known," the brothers said in a statement to TMZ. "But to us, Michael was first and foremost our brother. We carry his spirit with us always, and we love and miss him every day."

Thousands of flowers have been placed at the star's mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

Michael's youngest brother Randy is touched by the amount of flowers at the graveyard and appreciates the love shown to the late pop star on this sad occasion.

"Thinking about my brother on this day. Thank U everyone 4 your love and support and 4 the beautiful display of flowers at Forest Lawn," he tweeted.

The entire family is reportedly at war over Michael's estate, with siblings Janet, Rebbie and Randy claiming his 2002 will was a fake.

Michael's 15-year-old daughter Paris also apparently tried commit suicide earlier this month. Relationships are believed to be tense between relatives at this time.

"Tensions still exist between the brothers, sisters and their mother Katherine. Many have turned on each other," a source recently told Radar Online.

A wrongful death trial instigated by Katherine Jackson on behalf of Michael's three surviving children is ongoing.

The matriarch is suing concert promoters AEG Live. She claims executives were negligent in the hiring and supervision of Murray while he cared for the pop star during preparations for Michael's final comeback concert series.
