The Michael Jackson trial is to determine whether or not he molested a child, but yesterday's subtext was his co-ownership of the Sony music catalog. Former Jackson publicist Ann Kite took the stand and suggested some of Jackson's associates were planted to wrest away his ownership in the catalog, which includes works of The Beatles and Elvis Presley.
Kite also says a Jackson lawyer told her his associates would portray the mother of Jackson's accuser as "a crack whore" based on a tape. Kite also testified that she was uncomfortable when the accuser and his family left Neverland in the middle of the night and Jackson's people became alarmed.
