The Estate of Michael Jackson has settled a legal dispute over the Heal The World Foundation.
Associated Press reports that Jackson's estate have been fighting the Heal The World Foundation in court for the last 18 months for misuse of using Jackson's likeness and trademarks.
Heal The World was started by Jackson in 1992 but it was abandoned while the singer found child abuse allegations.
The new incarnation of Heal The World, led by director Melissa Johnson, claimed that they were authorised to use their association with the pop star by Jackson's attorney in 2005.
Jackson's estate said that the settlement reached on Tuesday means it retains the rights to the Heal the World charity and rights to any other trademarks.
Michael's mother Katherine Jackson has been added to the board of the company in recent months and the foundation have been recently been working in collaboration with Jackson's children.
