Family matriarch Katherine, 80, likens the court hearings over her son's death to when Michael was in court accused of molestation - insisting she goes purely out of love for him.
But she admits she finds it hard being in the same room as Dr. Murray, who is charged with involuntary manslaughter over Michael's death.
'It's been a very difficult time for me ever since my son passed,' Katherine said in a video interview.
'When I'm in that courtroom I can't stand to look at that man. I go because I love my son and I feel I have to be there.
'It's the same way when they was accusing him of molestation - I was there every day.'
In addition to the case against Murray, Katherine is dealing with a copyright infringement lawsuit filed by the singer's estate.
Her son's estate is suing Howard Mann, who runs a website that features Michael Jackson's music, video and a book Katherine is writing about Michael's life.
