Michael Jackson's mother and three children are suing concert promoters AEG Live.
The late 'Thriller' singer – who died from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 aged 50 – is believed by his mother Katherine, the legal guardian of his three kids Prince Michael, 13 Paris, 12, and eight-year-old Prince Michael II, known as Blanket to have been put in "harm's way" by the company, who were hosting his planned 50-date London residency.
The lawsuit alleges the 'Bad' star was disoriented and shivering at his final rehearsal for his shows at the UK capital's 02 Arena, adding: "AEG had legal duties to Michael Jackson to treat him safely
and to not put him in harm's way.
"But AEG, despite its knowledge of Michael Jackson's physical condition, breached those duties by putting its desire for massive profits from the tour over the health and safety of Michael Jackson."
Also revealed in the lawsuit, it is alleged Dr. Conrad Murray – who has been charged with the involuntary manslaughter of the singer – made medical decisions under the control of the company, who were paying him $150,000 a month to work as the 'Billie Jean' hitmaker's private physician.
According to the suit: "AEG knew or should have known that it was jeopardising Jackson's health and safety by assuming control over the doctor-patient relationship between Jackson and Murray, and by directing and influencing Murray to act without regard to medical safety standards."
It also accused AEG's "actions and inactions" to leave the world without "its most celebrated entertainer".
The lawsuit – which was filed yesterday (15.09.10) at the Los Angeles Superior Court - adds: "Due to AEG's actions and inactions, three loving children lost their father, a loving mother and father lost their son, the Jackson siblings lost their brother, and the world lost its most celebrated entertainer."
