The new drama focuses on a single mum living in the suburbs in Atlanta who works with a hustler to try and solve crimes.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Driver, 41, has signed up to star in the new show from Warner Bros. TV and Silver Pictures. The pilot has been written by Jeff Wadlow and he will executive produce along with Joel Silver and Ilene Chaiken.
Driver last starred on US TV in the FX show The Riches that aired throughout 2007 and 2008 and she received an Emmy nomination for the role.
She also had a role in Modern Family last year.
She most recently appeared in films such as Conviction and Barney's Version.
