Motley Crue sign up for second Las Vegas residency

Motley Crue are headed back to Las Vegas for a second residency after the success of their February 2012 run of shows.

The shows will run from September 18 to October 6 at The Joint at the Hard Rock Cafe with the band promising that this will be a whole new production. The show is being designed exclusively for The Joint in conjunction with AEG Live.

The band's Nikki Sixx commented "We are proud to have pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency last year and can't wait to come back this year to take it over the top with a brand new show that will be unlike anything you've ever seen Mötley Crüe do before."

"The guys had such a wild and successful run the first time around, I'm sure they will want to do everything bigger and better this time. We are extremely excited to see what the band brings to The Joint and Vegas during their second residency," said Paul Davis, vice president of entertainment at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino "If some is good, more is better! That was our thought when we got serious about bringing the Crüe back to The Joint.
