Motley Crue frontmant Vince Neil has confirmed that the band will play a special gig in Los Angeles at the end of their farewell tour, dubbed "The Loudest Show on Earth".
The band are planning on giving fans something to remember before they hang up their guitars for good, following the announcement of the final tour earlier this year. "Rumour has it, the last few shows are going to be Vegas and L.A,” Vince Neil told Las Vegas Weekly, “because we wanted to end in 2016 in Los Angeles, where we started.
"After New Year's, we'll do three nights at one of the arenas in L.A and then do a special show at the Whisky a Go Go on our 35th anniversary." Find tickets here.
The venue is a poignant one: a legendary L.A club at Sunset Boulevard, on the Sunset Strip, which was the launch pad for acts including The Doors, Alice Cooper, Guns ‘N Roses, and of course, the Crue.
Neil’s comments come after bandmate Tommy Lee recently told Rolling Stone: "We want to finish where we started. There's talk about the Staples Centre and the Forum, though it might end with a 1am show at the Whisky. Fuck, we all used to live around the corner from that piece of shit club. It would be real nice to finish off there."
