Frightening health news for popular band Mumford & Sons, as their bassist, Ted Dwane, has revealed he has a brain blood clot diagnosis.
The band had to cancel its show in Dallas tonight due to the medical emergency with Dwane.
The band revealed that Dwane was unwell for a few days and was taken to the hospital, where scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain.
Their statement reads: "Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery."
The band reportedly will postpone two other shows scheduled for this week, in Woodlands, Texas, and New Orleans on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. The statement said that all performances will be rescheduled "and announced as quickly as we can."
Best wishes from M&C to Ted for a fast recovery.
