Mumford and Sons are currently in the studio with Arctic Monkeys and HAIM producer James Ford.
A source close to the band has commented: "It’s very early days yet, but the sessions have been going well", reports NME. It is yet to be confirmed that the recording sessions could be for the band's third album, the follow up to 2012's Babel.
Meanwhile Mumford and Sons frontman Marcus Mumford has been working with Elvis Costello on a "lost" Bob Dylan lyrics LP, Lost On The River: The New Basement Tapes. The album which is due for release in November will come with a documentary called Lost Songs: The Basement Tapes Continued.
