The mother-of-two said women should grow up wanting more from life than to marry a football player.
“We have to set a good example,” she told the Daily Star.
“What pressure are our daughters going to feel, where they think marrying a footballer is the way to success?”
The 33-year-old married long-term partner Graham Quinn in a quiet ceremony with just 16 guests last month and said they just wanted it to be a low-key family affair.
