BRIT-ASIAN magazine launches issue 15 which sees N-Dubz's Dappy reveal Gary Barlow's Indian nickname, 'Gar Bal!'!
While working with Take That's Gary Barlow on the new album, Against All Odds, Dappy learnt of Barlow's secret Indian nickname used by fellow artists and close collaborators!
Dappy along with band-mates Fazer and Tulisa now refer to Barlow by his Indian nickname 'Gar Bal' which Barlow revealed was given to him by an Indian cabbie!
It was over a hot Indian curry that Gary Barlow admitted to the N-Dubz trio how he was hailed down by an Indian cabbie who recognised him yet couldn't quite put his finger on who he actually was!
It was on the tip of the cabbie's tongue who eventually had to go to the extreme of calling his wife to find out then was adamant Barlow's real name was "Gar Bal!"
Dappy explained it had Barlow laughing in stitches and 'Gar Bal' has now stuck with Barlow ever since, from his fellow Take That band members and the N-Dubz trio.
