Black Swan star Natalie Portman has given birth to a boy.
This has been a year to remember for Portman, who took home the Oscar for Best Actress earlier this year.
Indeed, it was on the set of Black Swan that she met the father of her child, choreographer Benjamin Millipied.
The pair are currently engaged.
Portman made her debut as a child in 1994's Leon, going on to play Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequels, before taking time out to study psychology at Harvard university in 2003.
Neither Portman, who turned 30 last week, nor Millipied would give details on the baby's name or birth date.
