The executive director of the Australian soap Neighbours has said they would welcome a cameo appearance from Adele.
The London singer, who is enjoying worldwide success with her album '21', said recently she was a fan of the soap and former star Harold Bishop, played by Ian Smith.
“I love Neighbours and especially Harold,” she said. “He plays the tuba so I'd love to ask him to play on some of the tracks. In return I could do a cameo on Neighbours like Lily Allen did.
Now the executive director Susan Bower has said they would like Adele to star on the show, reports Heat World.
“I can promise Adele she would receive a huge Neighbours welcome from all the cast and crew,” she said.
“We would love her to have some fun with us on Ramsay Street. I'm a huge fan and I know a number of the cast are also."
Meanwhile, Adele has been forced to postpone more dates on her current US tour due to illness.
