Niall Horan has written a track about one night stands for One Direction's forthcoming album 'Made in the A.M.'
The 22-year-old singer has admitted the song 'Temporary Fix' on the band's fifth studio LP has a bit of "dirt and grit" to it, which was inspired by his past "grungy" nights out.
Speaking to MTV News, the Irish hunk explained: "It [the song] has got a bit of dirt to it, a bit of grit to it.
"It's basically about being in the bar, and some guy is chewing the ear off you. He's got a few drinks on him, and you can tell by her body language that she doesn't want to be there, so you come over to her, chat to her..."
He added with a grin: "Then the chorus is basically about 'I can be your temporary fix'.
"We don't have to call it anything - just kinda... it's relatable I guess. Everyone has a grungy night out now and then."
Meanwhile, Niall isn't the only one who has drawn on his experiences to help write a track as his bandmate Harry Styles, 21, opened up about his relationship with Taylor Swift, whom he dated from October 2012 until January 2013, in the popular group's new catchy single 'Perfect.'
A music source said previously: "Harry would never get too specific about Taylor in a song, but the lyrics are definitely going to get fans speculating.
"He doesn't want to dish the dirt but a relationship as intense as theirs has provided lots of inspiration."
'Made in the A.M.' is set for release on November 13.
