Nick Cannon is proud wife Mariah Carey's injuries are healing.
The singer suffered a cracked rib, a fractured shoulder and several bruises last month after slipping on the set of her #Beautiful music video.
But Mariah has continued performing and attending premieres despite the injuries. Nick told ET Online: "My wife is doing a lot, lot better. The physical therapy is definitely working.
"At [the recent premiere of Lee Daniels' The Butler], she still couldn't really move her right hand, but now she's got a little bit of the functionality of her hand back. She's still got the blinged-out slings, but hopefully she won't need those pretty soon!"
While Mariah recuperates Nick is committing a lot of his time to charity.
The star is passionate about Project CANVAS, which invites celebrities to design shoes to fund art programmes at schools.
"Project CANVAS is really cool, it's a footwear brand that allows you to express your own creativity," Nick explained.
"It's easy to get involved with Project CANVAS, you just have to get a pair of the shoes. The idea of being able to create your own cool shoe, there's no limit to how you can be involved in that."
Past guest celebrity designers for Project CANVAS include Ellen DeGeneres, Ozzy Osbourne, Cee Lo Green, and Nick's wife Mariah.
The songstress is planning to release her 11th studio album, The Art of Letting Go, later this year.
