Nicole Richie doesn't brag about kids

Nicole Richie tries not to brag about her children.

The 'Fashion Star' mentor - who shares daughter Harlow, five, and son Sparrow, three, with her husband Joel Madden - loves being a mother but admits she is enjoying her freedom more as her children get older and isn't sure whether she would like to have another baby.

The 31-year-old former reality TV star told the 'Chelsea Lately' show on Tuesday (23.04.13): 'I'm just chillin'. Let me just chill! I really like that they're doing their own thing. They're at school until 3. I don't have to, like, look after them -- or even think about them! It's like every other day.'

Asked if she would like more children, she said: 'I don't know,' and insisted she doesn't like to gush about her children too much.

She explained: 'They want to talk about their spit-up and how cute their boogers are. I try to not be that mom. I know what is really cute and what I only think is cute.'

Nicole's husband Joel, 34, recently admitted that she was initially reluctant to go out with him but agreed after he kept asking her.

He said: 'I'm not for every woman, you know. Because a lot of women - I mean, obviously, your first thing is, 'What do you want your guy to look like?' And I'm not the tall, dark, handsome guy. But I think [you like me] once you get to know me, like how I got Nicole.'
